Fabric is thin, but opaque so works great for light dresses or shirts. Not trouser weight but it's a cotton so no one could reasonably expect that. Shocked at the quality for the price as I was expecting this to feel a little papery. I would buy a meter more than you think you need as the pattern repeats in a noticeable way and at this price you'd be mad not to.
