Fabric is a thinner flannel / brushed cotton and would be idea for dresses, shirts and sleepwear. It's marked as for sale by Joannes and not suitible for children, so be aware. I got this fabric on a whim because the price was decent and I thought it might make a nice western shirt, and honestly when it arrived I wasn't sure. However, once washed and ironed, I'm in love. I think I'm going to make a western style dress with some fringing on it to make the most of the colour choices in the print
